Aspectly compares birth charts. To draw yours it needs unusually specific information about you — where and exactly when you were born — and to compare it with someone else's it needs the same about them, entered by you. This page sets out what we collect, why, who processes it on our behalf, and what you can delete.
What changed in September 2026. Aspectly used to have a dating feature: profiles other members could see, likes, matches, messaging, photo uploads and device location. All of it has been removed from the app. Everything this page used to say about it is gone rather than reworded, and nothing you enter is visible to any other user.

What we do not collect. Aspectly does not ask for or store a photograph, a gender, a sexual orientation, or your device's location. There is no photo upload of any kind in the app. We use no advertising identifiers and no cross-app tracking.
To compare two charts, Aspectly needs the other person's birth date, birth time and birth place, and a name to label them by. You type these in yourself.
Only add someone whose birth details you are comfortable holding. They are another person's data as well as yours.
Those details are stored against your account, and the chart derived from them is computed and stored so a reading can be generated. They are used for nothing else. They are not visible to any other user, are never used to introduce anyone to anyone, are never used for advertising, and never appear in any analytics event — not the name, not the birth data, not even how many people you have saved.
You can remove any saved person at any time from their screen in the app. That removes them, their birth details and their chart from your account, and the reading becomes unreachable. A copy of the generated reading stays cached on our servers against an internal identifier until you delete your account, at which point it goes with everything else.
If you are the person someone added and you want the entry removed, write to support@vibesapps.co. Entries are held under the account that created them, so we will need enough detail to find it.
Readings are written by a large language model (Anthropic Claude) called from our backend. We send it your first name, the chart and transit data the reading needs, and — for a compatibility reading — the chart data of the person being compared and the name you labelled them with. We do not send your email or your address. Messages you send to the in-app guide are sent to Anthropic to answer them. Anthropic processes this as our subprocessor and does not use it to train their models.
We do not sell your personal data.
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the UK GDPR, or the CCPA/CPRA) you may access, correct, export or delete your data, and object to some processing. Write to support@vibesapps.co. You can withdraw notification permission at any time in your device settings.
Your data is kept while your account is active. You can delete your account from Profile in the app, which permanently removes your chart and birth details, the people you have saved and their charts, your readings, your streak and your sign-in credentials. Backups are purged on our standard cycle.
One deliberate exception, left over from the dating feature. Safety reports filed before September 2026 are not deleted. They are anonymised — the user ID is replaced with a placeholder and the stored copy of the reported content is redacted — while the reason, the surface and the date are kept. No new reports of this kind can be created; the feature they belonged to no longer exists.
Aspectly is for adults and is 18+. Age is worked out from the birth date you enter for your chart — you cannot type an age — and onboarding stops if that calculation puts you under 18. Aspectly is not directed to children.
If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and revise the date at the top. Significant changes will be announced in the app.
